The Liverpool star is a leading pioneer for women’s boxing. As an amateur, she became the first female to compete for GB Boxing, earning her the name ‘Miss GB’, going on to win bronze at the 2012 AIBA World Championships; silver in the 2014 European Championships; and reaching the quarter finals of the 2012 Olympics. Her decorated amateur career has been superseded by her even more successful professional career. She is now within touching distance of realizing her goal of becoming undisputed light middleweight world champion.
