"I recently ordered two pairs of the Everlast Powerlock X-Trainer Boxing Shoes for my son, and we couldn’t be more impressed. He previously used the Everlast Elite shoes, which were already great with outstanding quality and comfort, so we had high expectations—and these definitely delivered. He’s also tried Nike Hyper KO and Machomai 2 and 3, but after using the Powerlocks, he says he won’t be going back to Nike for boxing anymore. That alone speaks volumes. What really stands out is the comfort and support. Everlast shoes have never caused him any foot pain, even during intense training sessions. He describes them as very reactive, giving him excellent responsiveness in movement, and says they make him feel completely locked in and secure. Overall, Everlast continues to impress with both quality and performance. Highly recommended for any serious boxer."

"Not too bad a shoe! Very comfortable but only for medium training, bag work and light sparring. Ankles are a little loose and some soft stability, BUT I do like the shoe for my workouts! And you can’t beat the price!!"

"Great shoes, feel great in them and perfect for kickboxing work out, to hit and kick a bag. Price was great as well. The look could be improved as the colors and design look do not look great. But these are not for looking good or use the outside of the gym. For the gym, these are perfect."

"These fit amazing. I’m surprised how well they fit out the box. The ease or use is amazing for getting ready. These fit true to size. If you’re a half size you probably would be able to fit a half size down. Probably one of the most comfortable boxing shoes I’ve wver worn."

GREAT SHOES/ POOR SERVICE

"ALTHOUGH THE SHOES ARE GREAT, WE HAD A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE, WITH MY SON FOOT GROWING I ORDERED HIS SIZE ENDED UP NOT FITTING, WELL THE EVERLAST DOES NOT PROVIDE RETURN LABELS OR EXCHANGE INSTEAD I HAD TO BUY A NEW PAIR AND CAME OUT OF POCKET TO RETURN THE PAIR THAT DID NOT FIT MY SON. I HAVE NEVER DEALT WITH EVERLAST BUT WHAT I HAD TO GO THROUGH TO GET MY SON A NEW PAIR I RATHER JUST BUY NIKE PRODUCT."

Good for gym + boxing crossover use

"I’ve used a lot of boxing shoes, and for the money, the Everlast Powerlock X-Trainer is hard to beat. The comfort is what stands out right away—they feel great from the first session without that stiff break-in period some boxing shoes have. The cushioning makes a big difference during longer workouts, especially if you’re doing bag work, mitts, footwork drills, or even conditioning. They feel supportive without being heavy, and the strap system gives a secure locked-in fit. If you’re an amateur boxer looking for a solid shoe without spending crazy money, these are an easy recommendation. Even for pros, they’re a great training shoe because they balance comfort, support, and performance really well."

Solid boxing shoe

"The Powerlock X's are a solid boxing shoe. While it does not offer as much support or comfort as my Everlast Elite 2. 0's, it's great for bag work and mitt and pad work. Not as comfortable for any calisthenic work you might have in a boxing class."

Love the shoes

"I really love these shoes! They fit great, they're comfortable. So easy to put on and take off. I have a wide foot so its difficult to find a shoe that fits. And these were perfect. I usually wear a 9 1/2 in nike, I ordered a 10. There isnt any extra room at the toes like I usually like it but its fine."
