Reggie Bush, considered one of the biggest open-field threats in professional football, is well-known for his agility and speed which he attributes to his off-season fight sports training. He has been in the national spotlight since college where he was as a two-time All-American (2004, 2005), a National Champion (2004) and was selected as National Player in 2005. In 2006, Bush made his highly anticipated transition to the professional level as the second overall draft pick by the New Orleans Saints.
In the pros, Bush’s career continued to flourish and in 2009, after only four professional seasons, he played an integral part in a postseason run that led to the first world championship in the city’s history and ranked third on the team with eight total touchdowns. In 2011, Reggie was traded to the Miami Dolphins and had his best season as professional. Bush set career highs in rushes and rush yards and tied his career high with 6 rushing TDs.
In 2013, Bush signed with the Detroit Lions and had one of the most productive seasons of his career. Despite missing two games due to injury, Bush came within 80 yards of setting a new career high in total rushing yards. Additionally, Bush displayed tremendous agility and elusiveness in the open field this past season while also playing an integral part in the passing game.
